Brad Price will be presenting results from the 2019 Winter Bee Survey. Many club members participated in this survey. Data was collected on 77 beehives. The overall survival rate from last winter was 40%.

Brad will be showing more detail on what people did for winter prep and which things were more successful.  Brad will also be showing how to do many of the winter prep tasks like insulating your hive, making and feeding sugar cake and applying oxalic acid dribble for mite control.

Omaha Bee Club members may attend for free. Visitors can join the club that day. If you don't want to join, there is a $5 drop in fee per meeting.

There will be lots of time to ask questions and talk about bees.
